Dear John,
I listened to your conversation with Gene Montesrastelli on June 3rd about the resistance of some people to EFT because of their religious beliefs.
I learnt EFT in Houston at the MD Anderson Place of Wellness when I took my husband there for a second opinion on his cancer. When we discovered my husband’s cancer it was too late and the Anderson could not help him. However, I firmly believe that he lived two extra months because of EFT. As we both practiced the technique his terrible pains decreased and his quality of life somehow improved. Through EFT I saw him achieve things he thought he could not do. When we returned to England his was very ill and his health deteriorated rapidly and he died in December 2007.
I saw EFT in action and I know it works.
After my husband’s death the EFT technique remained with me and has been a great help with my aches and pains and also for my grief.
Coming back to my reason for writing to you: My grown up children and specially my daughter is very resistant to EFT. She is a Christian and sees EFT with a lot of suspicion and once even told me that there was nothing in the bible about EFT. She knows that EFT works because she knows it helper her father and it continues helping me, but she is still adamant to use the technique.
In your conversation with Gene he said that God is bigger that everything else, which I believe is true and you said that we as Christians have no right to handcuff God in what tools or methods He wants to use to help us or heal us. You also said that EFT is just a simple tool to help us to unblock us from receiving what God wants to give us.
I agree with all these.
My question is: is there anything else that I could say to my daughter to convince her that there is no clash between God and EFT ?
I know she would benefit so much from EFT but my problem is to convince her.
Is there anything else you suggest I could tell her ?
I would be grateful for your answer.
Kind regards
Eugenia Yabrudy (writing from London)
P.S. I recently completed my EFT Level 1 Training and I am looking forward to progress in this field.
Hi Eugenia!
I received this in email from you as well, and responded to you there.
John
